The flagship collection, highlighting the year 1827 as the founding year of Purcari winery, encapsulating nearly 200 years of our history, values, and excellence in quality.

Château Purcari's innovation is gracefully blended with a deep appreciation for the traditional winemaking techniques, reimagined by oenologists fluent in the language of the Earth.

The Limited Edition 1827 collection rewards connoisseurs with new spectacular perspectives on these well-known wines.

The grapes for Native Wines are grown in the vineyards of Purcari, on a 25 ha plot where environmentally, biodiversity, and soil fertility friendly agrotechnics are applied. Modern equipment, from presses to thermally controlled fermenters, is one of the key factors contributing to the quality of Purcari wines.

Vinohora is a collection of wines that combines a native grape variety with an international one.

Maluri de Prut was launched to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the „Podul de flori” between Moldova and Romania a historic moment for both countries. Two grape varieties are used: Fetească Neagră from Romania and Rară Neagră from Moldova.

Freedom Blend was created as a manifesto, an expression of the free spirit, a bold blend of three indigenous grape varieties: Saperavi, Rara Neagra, and Bastardo. It has the heart of Georgia, the terroir of Moldova, and the free spirit of Ukraine.

Nocturne represents a collection that showcases wines crafted from handpicked noble grape varieties, carefully harvested in the coolness of the night to maintain the richness of aromas and the intensity of flavor.

Academia Purcari is a collection of wines created following the absolute rules of nature: sun, water, soil, with vinification and aging in clay amphorae and a brief rest in oak barrels.

Crafted using the classic method with a second fermentation in the bottle, our Cuvées highlight the finest terroir in an exceptional blend. Purcari sparkling wines were created in collaboration with the French oenologist Jérôme Barret.

Where can I buy Purcari wines internationally?

Answer: Château Purcari exports to over 40 countries, including the UK, USA, Germany, Romania, China, and Japan. You can find our wines in major specialized wine shops and selected retail chains globally.

Answer: Negru de Purcari has excellent aging potential. Depending on the vintage and storage conditions, it can continue to develop complexity for 10 to 20 years or more.

Answer: Negru de Purcari is our flagship vintage wine. Known as the ‘King of Red Wines’, it gained international fame after being delivered to the Royal Court of Great Britain and Queen Elizabeth II. It is a noble blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Saperavi, and Rară Neagră.

Answer: The Nocturne collection is exclusively dedicated to the HoReCa sector (Hotels and Restaurants). Its defining characteristic is that the grapes are harvested manually in the cool of the night to preserve their freshness and aromatic intensity.

Answer: The vineyards are located in the Stefan Voda region of Moldova, close to the Dniester River and the Black Sea. This unique microclimate and terroir are similar to the famous Bordeaux region in France
